Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Kept, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, that you have read and agree to these terms, and that you agree to our Privacy Policy. If you are using Kept on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these terms.

Two Types of Accounts

Kept serves two types of users. Barber and shop owner accounts use Kept to manage appointments, accept payments, and connect with clients. You are responsible for the accuracy of your service listings, pricing, and availability, and for delivering services clients book through your profile. Client accounts use Kept to find barbers, book appointments, and pay for services. You are responsible for showing up to booked appointments or canceling in advance per the barber's stated cancellation policy.

Payments and Subscriptions

Barbers and shop owners pay a flat monthly or annual subscription fee. Current plans and prices are listed at keptcutz.com. Kept takes zero percentage of transactions between barbers and their clients. Subscription fees are billed at the start of each billing period and are non-refundable except as required by law or as described below. Card payments are processed by Stripe. Kept does not store raw payment card numbers. Barbers who connect Stripe Connect to receive card payments are subject to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement.

Free Trial

New accounts may be eligible for a 14-day free trial of a paid plan. At the end of the trial, your account reverts to the free Starter plan unless you have added a payment method and subscribed. We will not charge you without your explicit action to subscribe.

Refunds

Kept subscription fees are generally non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact keptcutz@gmail.com within 30 days of the charge. We will review and resolve disputes on a case-by-case basis.

Cancellations

You may cancel your Kept subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Contractor Privacy

Kept is designed so that shop owners cannot access the earnings, appointments, or client data of independent contractor barbers in their shop. This is a non-negotiable feature of the platform and cannot be disabled by any shop owner or admin.

Prohibited Conduct

• Use Kept for any unlawful purpose
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of Kept or its infrastructure
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from Kept without written permission
• Post false or misleading information about yourself or your services
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users

User Content

You retain ownership of content you upload to Kept, including profile photos and portfolio images. By uploading content, you grant Kept a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content on the platform. You represent that you have the right to upload any content you submit and that it does not violate any third-party rights.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms or if your use poses a risk to other users or the platform. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kept and Purple Block Global Holdings LLC are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the total amount you paid to Kept in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Kept is provided as-is without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of security vulnerabilities.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Kept are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Georgia.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top. Continued use of Kept after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
